Draft City Development Strategy Guidelines: Improving City Performance
The Cities Alliance Secretariat is pleased to present the draft guidelines for undertaking city development strategies. These are based on a comprehensive assessment of CDS processes and products, in the context of contemporary urbanisation dynamics, which the Alliance commissioned. City development strategies prepared under contexts other than Cities Alliance are also included in the review.
The guidelines are designed to assist key stakeholders to use city development strategies to maximise the potential of their cities. The Alliance welcomes comments and suggestion on this draft, which will be evaluated to feed into a final product, to be published later in the year.
