Introduction

INTA, the International Urban Development Association, is holding its next World Urban Development Congress in Riga, Latvia. The Congress will take advantage of the booming expansion of Riga to address issues of governance of large-scale development projects with particular attention to the different modes of financing and the role of cultural projects in the public acceptance of these large projects.
