SUPS X is an extraordinary conference to mark the 10th anniversary of an important tradition that began in 1998. The conference is organized annually under the patronage of His Highness, Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qassimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council of the U.A.E. Each year, the conference assembles urban/environmental planning scholars, professionals and technocrats from all over the world to examine a topical theme. SUPS X will continue this tradition by examining the theme “Capital Cities, Wicked Problems: Best Practices in Planning and Policy Response Mechanisms.”
