Architects briefed on Dubai green building regulations

Gulf News    August 09, 2008   By Emmanuelle Landais  - Dubai: A group of experts will address the architects of Dubai's future green buildings and the city's legislations on architecture.

Green buildings will not be able to sprout up over Dubai without the proper framework so Dubai Municipality is hosting a seminar to discuss the city's regulations for upcoming buildings.

The seminar is called "Build it Green: Greening of Dubai through Regulations" will be held for local architects and consultant engineers to get together and go over some of the finer details.

The seminar will be held on August 10 at City Hall, Dubai Municipality Headquarters from 9am to 12.30pm, and is organised in association with WSP, a prominent design, engineering and management consultancy firm.
