The Development of Salam Street, this vital structure and the artery of the traffic movement, is a strategic project in facilitating the traffic flow and will work as a vital link within Abu Dhabi City, in line with Abu Dhabi Government's commitment to improve the quality of services in Abu Dhabi City, which considers modernizing the transportation system a key element.

In this respect and in order to achieve these objectives, three government departments: Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council and Department of Transport through a common vision and complete cooperation have worked on planning and executing this project taking into consideration the integrated approach for urban development.
