Several academic researches and case studies covering various fields of AUDI activities and are Arab city oriented;  its development, growth guidance and problem resolution, were conducted.

AUDI, in these researches and studies, also considered closely the fields that serve training and consultation activities. (i.e :-

·                    The role of AUDI in urban and administrative development in the sector of localities in the Arab World.

·                    Development of revenues, operation and management of  Municipal utilities -  Experience of Riyadh city

·                    Examples of prudence of H.M. the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques towards the Arab City development: Riyadh city as a model.

AUDI provides case studies, scientific and technical assistance to researchers in the fields of its activities and supply them with related information, literature and references.

Translation, from and to Arabic language, keeps pace with the active momentum of AUDI scientific researches and studies.

In addition to the daily bulk of work, the researches and studies conducted by AUDI for participation  in symposia and conferences have been translated  from Arabic to English and vice versa.

Consultation:

AIDI, within its capacity, provided consultation services and technical expertise to member cities and municipalities:-

A.               Benefiting from international assistance programs in conducting some consultations provided by Arab and foreign  experts  which allow satisfying results and an opportunity to train Arab experts i.e. privatization of municipal services in Arab medium cities.

B.                Prepared an informative  roster in the filed of AUDI’s activities to enable Arab cities municipalities  to coordinate effectively.

C.               Strengthening relationship with regional  and international organizations in  the field of consultation for better coordination,  and for joining efforts and capabilities to provide consultation services to Arab cities and municipalities.

D.               AUDI established  a Help Desk, intended to assist Arab Cities and municipalities for their pressing urban issues, with the World Bank knowledge management section and information technology department. The Help Desk of the AUDI includes a wide range of information and communication database world wide.
