A delegation from AUDI composed of Eng. Ahmed Al-Salloum, Director General, Dr. Gamal Hamid, CPI Director, and Prof. Osman Nour, AUDI Expert and CPI Consultant, visited the headquarters of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in Jeddah. The visit took place on Tuesday 5th June 2007.
The delegation met with H.E. Ahmed M. Ali, IDB President, and the deputy director of the Country Operations department. AUDI delegation presented the new projects concerned with child protection and welfare in urban areas, and poverty alleviation in Arab cities that AUDI intends to launch during 2007 – 2009.
IDB President commended AUDI’s efforts in serving Arab cities and instructed his staff to review the project documents submitted by AUDI and to explore possible IDB support to those projects.
