The report  “participation in knowledge”: Innovations and Challenges issued by “Operations  Evaluation Unit” of  the World Bank  chosen  the existing cooperation between AUDI and the World Bank in the filed of participation of knowledge to achieve the objectives of development, among the best practices and experiences.

The report indicated in brief the close cooperation between the World Bank and AUDI in the field of establishing and improving AUDI website, which includes “Help Desk” which aims to provide Arab cities and municipalities as well as researchers with information and data required for development and urban administration for their plans and development projects to be set on sound scientific bases.

The report  also mentioned the fruitful cooperation between the World Bank and AUDI in organizing the “Children and the City” conference hosted by  Greater Amman Municipality in December  2002.

A brief note on  AUDI was also given indicating that it is one of the arms of Arab Towns Organization (ATO), which includes Mayors and Heads of more than 400 Arab cities.
